This is my version of an inspirational/motivational poster. Speaking of that, the InspiroBot is one of my favorite things. It’s an inspirational quote and image generator.  I really enjoy ones that make no sense whatsoever or are oddly profound.

This quote is from my book Summer Romance. That sounds like a pretty good book to read in the summer. Hint hint.

Did I just make a quick post to break up the block of entries talking about One Little Problem that all have the cover on them? Yeah, yeah I did. When a new book comes out or is about to come out, a lot of content becomes about that book. Which by the way, is One Little Problem, and you can get it here. Here is a little snippet from One More Problem, available for pre-order now. It will be released on June 16.

Ryan was under me and I had his hands pinned above his head, trying to wrangle him into submission, but he would not be swayed. He pouted his half insane/half ridic pout. “One more time. Please?” He relaxed into my hold a bit, as if trying to convince me he was docile and innocent. Yeah right.

But I gave in anyway. “Fine,” I sighed, my breath releasing on an exhale against the skin below his ear.  “You were right.”

“Oh my god, you should always be whispering those words in my ear.”

Well, that was nice to hear, so I did it again. “You were right,” I whispered and paused to nip at his ear and then he made a noise that was also really nice to hear, so I did it again and then said, “This worked.”

“Yay.” He looked smug and happy, like a cat lying in the sun. Now that he was getting his way, he did stop fighting me, actually relaxing and letting himself be praised and kissed. I should probably do something about this soon. His smugness would know no bounds, growing and growing until he thought he got to make all our relationship decisions, until it threatened the planet… Eh, I’d worry about it later.

One Little Problem, the third book in the One More Thing Series is available now for pre-order. The book will be released on the June 16, and I’ll be posting snippets and stuff leading up to it. I never know what to say when announcing stuff like this, so here is me being honest about that.

Anyway, here’s some more info about the book.

Summary: The path that led science nerd Ryan Miller and baseball player Luke Chambers into each other’s arms was bumpy and weird as hell, but their relationship is totally awesome.

Now all that’s left is to enjoy life… or it’s Ryan’s turn to screw things up. Or no one could screw it up, they could just be together and be blissfully happy even if they have to spend the summer apart. But no, somethings gotta go wrong. They already have both their parents against them, and the only solution is a crazy plan to save the day.

April showers bring may flowers, right? That’s a saying and all sayings are true. Kind of seems like that means it’s supposed to rain a lot in April and then possibly stop raining in May? That hasn’t happened yet here, so it’s kind of hard to believe summer is fast approaching, but May is when school ends and that always says the beginning of summer to me. So, I’m going to start posting some graphics for my summer books.

Hey, if all sayings are true, maybe it’s a good thing it’s raining a lot here. Because I’ve seen some nice rainbows and there must be a pot of gold at the end of them, right? I’m about to be rich!

pbI tried and somehow managed to release three books for the summer. The latest one, Pool Boy, made it to the number one new book in LGBT Romance for teens. Getting that little orange sticker (even for a moment) feels great. I captured the moment for posterity of course.

Beach Bum

I live by the beach. I go to the beach occasionally, but I picture lounging in the sun and reading a good book and I can’t actually do that at the beach. I have a dog and I love my dog and my dog loves going with humans wherever they go and especially to the beach.

Or more specifically, my dog loves walking, finding food people have left behind on the sand, and jumping on people. She doesn’t understand relaxing on a beach towel. I could try anyway but she would whine the entire time. I had to put her in her kennel a few times when older relatives were around and she’s a dachshund so she’s stubborn as hell and she made noise the whole time.

Basically, I can’t leave her behind. I could but that would be really mean and she would know and give me sad eyes when I came back.

My aim is to write three books for summer, which seems like a pretty achievable goal when I’ve already written two. I haven’t solely been rambling on about the beach because the second of my summer novels is called Beach Bum.
